Method of quantity food preparation, serving and storage is desirable. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy. ABILITY TO: Cashier and to complete daily records. Follow oral and/or written instructions. Learn and follow health and sanitation requirements. Maintain food service equipment and areas in a clean and sanitary condition. Meet schedules and time lines. Maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during the performance of required duties.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Lifting, pushing and/or pulling which does not exceed 50 pounds and is an infrequent aspect of the job; wear protective apparel including goggles, face protectors, aprons, shoes and oxygen breathing apparatus; work around loud noise; work around moving mechanical parts; work around electrical current; standing and walking for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate kitchen equipment; carrying, pushing or pulling food trays, carts, materials and supplies; reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally; seeing to assure proper quantities of food; bending at the waist. One (1) year of food service experience is desirable. Ability to pass the District Proficiency Examination at the level appropriate to the job classification.
