Your New Role
As the Manager, Process Optimisation & Change, you will play a key role in driving process improvement and change management across our Member Domain. Reporting to the Principal – Business Management & Optimisation, you will design and deliver frameworks that champion process improvement, simplification, and innovation, including the use of automation and AI.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Domain to analyse current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your leadership will ensure that change is communicated and managed effectively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and resilience. Simplification is a key focus for AustralianSuper, and this role will therefore benefit from a high degree of visibility. Strong results and delivery in this role will lead to varied opportunities and growth for your career. This is a vital role with the opportunity to make a significant impact on member outcomes and the Fund’s strategic ambitions.
What You’ll Need
- Strong and demonstrable experience in a similar, and related discipline.
- Certification in process improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt).
- Proven experience in process documentation, improvement and change management, including utilisation and enhancement of Change Delivery Frameworks and Artefacts
- Strong ability to engage, liaise, and influence internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality and innovation.
- Understanding of operations, procedures, and policies relevant to the business area.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Exceptional written communication and business paper writing skills.
- Proven statistical and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data and tailor information to diverse audiences.
