The Publix Technology Services (PTS) Inventory Control Specialist utilizes SAP to support the operations of the PTS Department and works to ensure equipment is successfully processed for distribution to stores and Bench Technicians.

The Publix Technology Services (PTS) Inventory Control Specialist utilizes SAP to support the operations of the PTS Department and works to ensure equipment is successfully processed for distribution to stores and Bench Technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Manage invoicing for all projects and requests
- Ensure hardware is delivered according to installation schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and hardware invoices for new store installations
- Perform daily SAP tasks to maintain warehouse inventory and order accuracy
- Review technician stock orders and invoice equipment appropriately
- Adjust van inventory values as directed
- Manage daily and weekly equipment returns reports
- Follow-up with field services and stores on orders and returns
- Work with team members to resolve discrepancies with inventory, shipments and other stock related issues

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in inventory control or warehousing operations
- Understanding of materials handling in SAP
- General understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a business-related field or other analytical discipline
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control or warehousing operations
- 2+ years of experience with materials handling in SAP
- Experience working in a customer service environment
- Knowledge of software and equipment used by Publix business areas
- Knowledge and use of ServiceNow
