The Billing Customer Support Specialist will handle customer inquiries and issues related to charges, update and process payments, monitor billing emails, and provide backup support to job/data entry specialists.Pay range for this role is $22 to $24 per hour based on experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Process branch billing.
Address customer inquiries regarding charges and resolve concerns promptly.
Handle billing inquiries via phone and take payments over the phone.
Provide office/administrative support as needed.
Assist with answering phones, processing mail, data entry, & emailing customer notifications.
Assist customers with central station monitoring questions or service.
Process and maintain customer cancellations with accuracy.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations.
Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service.
Participate in special projects and complete other duties as assigned.
Education/Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to type at a speed of at least 40 words per minute.
Strong proofreading skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Basic knowledge of office equipment.
Understanding of clerical procedures and systems, including recordkeeping and filing.
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Must have a minimum of two years of billing/administrative experience.
Other Duties:
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
