Join a mission-driven behavioral health team that empowers people with disabilities to live their best lives. As our Referral & Intake Specialist, you’ll be the welcoming voice for new clients and a vital link between doctors, families, and our services.

What You’ll Do

• Be the first point of contact for new clients—answer calls, return messages promptly, and guide families through the intake process.
• Send intake packets, gather and verify information, and register clients in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Coordinate with doctors’ offices, referral sources, and internal teams to keep everyone informed and appointments on track.
• Monitor referral status, follow up on appointments, and quickly resolve any issues.
• Build positive relationships with external partners and provide exceptional customer service every step of the way.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years in a healthcare or referral/intake role highly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT/ICD-10 codes a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
