DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop programmatic standards supporting comprehensive, resource-loaded project schedules that outline key activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long-lead procurement items, and other essential project deliverables.
Implement and refine scheduling best practices, process controls, and performance measurement techniques to enhance efficiency and accuracy across projects.
Stay up to date with industry advancements, emerging scheduling technologies, and innovative methodologies to continuously improve scheduling processes for data center construction.
Establish standards and train project teams to maintain logical scheduling sequences, constraints, and realistic activity durations while accounting for industry standards, company benchmarks, manpower availability, and resource allocation.
Train project teams to perform schedule analysis to assess potential project delays and impacts (Time Impact Analysis), providing recommendations to mitigate risks and support change management processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to measure project performance, monitor progress, and validate the accuracy of project-related information shared internally and externally.
Leverage expertise in engineering, procurement, and construction methodologies to maintain critical path logic networks and incorporate historical data for more accurate future planning and forecasting.
Identify, analyze, and provide strategic solutions to complex project control challenges, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to project objectives.
Collaborate effectively with project teams, field personnel, and clients to generate accurate reports, track progress, and align project goals.
Facilitate in-person discussions to proactively address project status, scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, sequencing challenges, and reporting key milestones to stakeholders and leadership teams.
QUALIFICIATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in project scheduling and construction project management, preferably in data center or mission-critical environments.
Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
PMP, PMI-SP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
