TAKKT group are expanding our presence in Budapest, Hungary, to host the new European TAKKT Competence Center (TCC). This expansion means we will be hiring highly skilled experts in digital and future-focused competencies, ensuring that we remain competitive and customer-centric as we embrace new technologies, including AI.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Network Manager/Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of our global network infrastructure. This dual-role position requires a blend of high-level architecture skills and team leadership, in addition to senior-level network administration expertise. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of Juniper, Extreme Networks, Fortinet, VMware NSX-T, and SD-WAN/LAN technologies, along with proven experience managing teams and executing network transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Architecture & Strategy

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures for data centers,

branches, and cloud environments.

• Develop long-term strategies for network growth, resiliency, and security.

• Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and solutions to improve network capabilities and

performance.

• Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, architecture documentation, and

standards.

Management & Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and administrators.

• Manage daily network operations, projects, and initiatives in alignment with business

goals.

• Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements.

• Serve as the escalation point for critical network issues and incidents.

Operations & Administration

• Administer and optimize infrastructure involving Juniper, Extreme Networks, and

Fortinet hardware.

• Maintain and manage NSX-T environments with a focus on segmentation and micro

segmentation.

• Manage DNS services and ensure high availability and security.

• Oversee SD-WAN/LAN architecture and implement solutions that enhance network

performance.

• Implement and manage VPNs, firewalls, and secure remote access technologies.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Act as Tier 3 support for complex networking issues.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems affecting network

performance.

• Monitor network health, analyze logs, and proactively address potential disruptions.

Security & Compliance

• Develop and enforce enterprise network security policies.

• Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Project Management

• Lead network-related projects such as infrastructure upgrades, data center migrations, and

cloud networking deployments.

• Collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver on project goals and timelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Juniper, Extreme Networks, and Fortinet

technologies.

• Deep knowledge of VMware NSX-T, including deployment and troubleshooting.

• Expertise in SD-WAN/LAN, DNS management, and network security protocols.

• Familiarity with network automation tools (Python, Ansible) is a strong plus.

• In-depth understanding of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs,

etc.).

• Proven ability to lead projects and manage IT personnel effectively.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and reporting.
