Content Ingestion Analyst

We are looking for an Content Ingestion Analyst to join our Ingest team in Chennai/Noida location. This is an amazing opportunity to work on content acquisition, transformation, and ingestion to Clarivate products – DWPI and CompuMark. We have a great skill set in monitoring the Patents and Trademarks content from Publish to product and we would love to speak with you if you have skills or interest to explore opportunities in Intellectual Property. 

About You 

• Should have a bachelor’s or master’s Degree (Except Pharmacy, Ph.D., MCA, M.Tech) with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Must have an experience ranging from 3 to 5 yrs in Patent search database and good understanding in acquiring data from USPTO, EPO DocBD, INPADOC and other PTOs Patent Data.
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and the ability to troubleshoot products/data tools involved in the ingestion process.

It would be great if you also have.....

• Exposure to fundamentals of XML for data manipulation and intermediate proficiency in MS-Office products.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI and previous exposure or interest in patents data management.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Facilitate the Ingestion of patents data to the downstream teams from external sources through various methods, ensuring data readiness for input into product databases.
• Validate and amend Intellectual Property Data, tracking and eliminating errors through automation to enhance data accuracy using internal tools.

• Show your skills in creating and using data quality frameworks for patent information. This involves hands-on work with data conversion and quality checks.
• Deliver high-quality data within defined timelines, actively engaging in workflow management and quality controls to ensure accuracy.
• Escalate data concerns to the relevant teams, ensuring prompt correction of quality issues and preventing any missing data for downstream products.

About the Team  

         Ingest and Sourcing Operations is a 40+ member team based out of Chennai, Hyderabad & Noida specialized in content acquisition, transformation, and ingestion to Clarivate products such as DWPI, CompuMark, etc. The team is a blend of content experts who review the opportunities for new source content, develop requirements for its acquisition and transformation to be used by curation experts downstream for value-add information.

Hours of Work 

Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM IST (including an hour's break)
