Environmental Engineer - ENS (Mumbai/Bengaluru) na Burns & McDonnell India

The ENS services team at Burns & McDonnell India is building a team to support the US offices. The work that the ENS team supports includes air quality services, remediation services, natural & cultural resources.

Burns & McDonnell India (BMI) Environmental Services is looking for a well-rounded and driven engineer who will be part of our growing Natural and Cultural Resources team.

Key Responsibilities :

·       Support environmental and non-environmental permitting.

·       Preparation of Right-of-Way and Railroad permitting applications/documents.

·       Research permitting rules and compliances for US projects at Federal, State, County and Municipal levels.

·       Validation and processing of data collected on field.

·       Assist with desktop studies related to wetland assessments and delineations.

·       Prepare Spill Prevention, Control, & Countermeasure Plans (SPCC).

·       Prepare Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).

·       Prepare Erosion & Sediment Control Plans (ESCP).

·       Research and prepare technical reports, environmental assessments and permitting documents.

·       All other duties as assigned.

·       Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineer or a related natural science degree from an accredited program required.

·       Master’s degree in environmental engineering.

·       Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.

·       Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
