Key Responsibilities

Incident & Request Management

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-user IT issues and service requests.
  • Resolve manufacturing-related IT challenges with agility and precision.
  • Provide Level 1 support using documented procedures, training, and experience.
  • Deliver Level 2 support for undocumented issues and contribute to solution documentation.
  • Escalate or reclassify tickets when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Respond to user inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
  • Promote and implement IT best practices across teams.
  • Generate monthly reports to track support performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Hardware & Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, including office and production hardware.
  • Plan and execute hardware upgrades, replacing outdated equipment proactively.
  • Reconfigure hardware setups based on evolving user needs and operational requirements.

User Communication & Engagement

  • Educate users on IT asset usage policies and local support structures.
  • Lead or support awareness sessions on cybersecurity, IT tips, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Teams to introduce innovative solutions.
  • Configure network infrastructure for both office and shopfloor environments.
  • Support the deployment of new applications and solutions from the OP Division or Group.
  • Implement technologies that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • Preferred: Additional certifications in IT support, networking, or systems administration.

Experience

  • Required: Minimum of 1–3 years of hands-on experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with exposure to shopfloor IT systems.
