Key Responsibilities
Incident & Request Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-user IT issues and service requests.
- Resolve manufacturing-related IT challenges with agility and precision.
- Provide Level 1 support using documented procedures, training, and experience.
- Deliver Level 2 support for undocumented issues and contribute to solution documentation.
- Escalate or reclassify tickets when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Respond to user inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
- Promote and implement IT best practices across teams.
- Generate monthly reports to track support performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Hardware & Asset Management
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, including office and production hardware.
- Plan and execute hardware upgrades, replacing outdated equipment proactively.
- Reconfigure hardware setups based on evolving user needs and operational requirements.
User Communication & Engagement
- Educate users on IT asset usage policies and local support structures.
- Lead or support awareness sessions on cybersecurity, IT tips, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Teams to introduce innovative solutions.
- Configure network infrastructure for both office and shopfloor environments.
- Support the deployment of new applications and solutions from the OP Division or Group.
- Implement technologies that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Preferred: Additional certifications in IT support, networking, or systems administration.
Experience
- Required: Minimum of 1–3 years of hands-on experience in IT support or a related field.
- Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with exposure to shopfloor IT systems.
