JOB SUMMARY: The HSSEQ Management System Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality Assurance (HSSEQ) functions by ensuring timely access to accurate and reliable information. This position is responsible for administering and maintaining the company's Safety Management System (SMS), including document formatting, version control, and compliance oversight. Additionally, the role involves data entry and analysis across various platforms to enhance system performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to the following activities:
- Administer, maintain, and update HSSEQ Management System (Docmap), including user access, document control, and system structure.
- Ensure timely uploading/publishing, formatting, and version control of HSSEQ documents.
- Format and standardize HSSEQ documentation, primarily in Microsoft Word, to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Manage data entry, reporting, and system efficiency within ABS NSE Ship Management software.
- Supervise the HSSEQ Management System Specialist, providing coaching, guidance, performance feedback, and support for career development.
- Support internal audits and ensure alignment with HSSEQ policies, procedures, and programs.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for HSSEQ and executive review.
- Coordinate routine HSSEQ training sessions and maintain evacuation plans and safety postings for The Woodlands office.
- Monitor and manage PPE inventory and provisioning for office-based personnel.
- Provide guidance on HSSEQ initiatives and assist with project compliance and documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to promote and uphold corporate ethics, culture, and vision.
- Perform additional administrative and project-based tasks as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in HSSEQ, Document Control, or related disciplines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with maritime industry regulations.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Preferred certifications: NEBOSH - IGC, or NGC.
