ABOUT THE ROLE
The Planning Analyst is responsible for supporting demand and supply planning activities that ensure the right inventory is in the right place at the right time. This role manages purchase orders, reporting, and inventory flows across channels, contributing directly to sales growth, margin optimization, and customer satisfaction.
This role reports to the Planning Director.
We are a remote-first company, however, this role requires a Los Angeles residency for periodic in-person collaboration at our Hollywood office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Purchase Order Management: Build and issue POs, validate vendor terms, and track orders end-to-end with suppliers and 3PLs.
- Reporting & Data Analysis: Own weekly KPI reporting (e.g., forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, OOS rates), maintain dashboards, and run ad-hoc analyses to identify risks and opportunities.
- Supply & Inventory Management: Execute replenishment plans, monitor stock levels globally, allocate/re-balance inventory, and support product transitions/EOL exits.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Merchandising, E-Commerce, Operations, and Finance to align forecasts, promos, and assortment changes with inventory availability.
- Process Improvement: Standardize SOPs, streamline reporting, and identify opportunities for automation and scalability.
- Other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3–5 years of experience in planning, replenishment, or supply chain analytics
- Hands-on experience managing the full PO lifecycle with vendors and 3PLs
- Multi-channel inventory management exposure (e-commerce, wholesale, retail)
- Proven ability to manage weekly KPI reporting cadences and maintain data integrity
- ERP/OMS experience required (NetSuite preferred; SAP, Oracle, or similar acceptable)
- Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivots, error-checking, and basic modeling)
- Experience with BI/reporting tools (Looker preferred; Tableau or Power BI acceptable)
- Familiarity with key planning KPIs (WOS, turns, OOS rate, stock-to-sales, forecast accuracy)
- Clear written and verbal communication with cross-functional partners and external vendors
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field preferred
BASE SALARY RANGE
This position's base salary ranges from $69,000 to $78,000 annually. Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location, and other relevant factors.
