Description

The Supervisor of Access & Intake plays a vital leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the intake department. This position is responsible for supervising and supporting Intake Triage Specialists, and Navigator Specialists to ensure the delivery of high-quality administrative services that directly support client care and promote operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and facilitate weekly/monthly staff meetings, develop agendas along with engagement in discussions related to workflow, performance expectations, and organizational updates.
  • Support staff development through coaching, training, feedback, and formal performance evaluations.
  • Manage and coordinate shift schedules to ensure adequate Intake services coverage across all operational hours.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of quality control systems that ensure accuracy and effectiveness across departments.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of insurance payers.
  • Ensure the team operates within legal, ethical and organizational standards, as it relates to handling sensitive client information and supporting clinical operations.
  • Review and approve staff timecards, time-off requests, and ensure accurate timekeeping.
  • Complete employee performance evaluations in accordance with organizational standards and timelines.
  • Address staff performance issues promptly and professionally, including coaching sessions, issuing written warnings or disciplinary actions and documenting performance concerns as appropriate.
  • Regularly report to the Director of Operations regarding program needs, staffing concerns, workflow efficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the client access experience, reduce wait times, and streamline intake and support processes.

Qualifications


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of an associate's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
  • Requires two years of prior office management experience.

Pay: $56,800 - $70,000 per year. Compensation is based on years of experience.
