This Senior Manager of Financial Strategy role located in New York City, NY will partner closely with the CFO and rest of the Leadership Team to drive strategic initiatives forward. You will serve as an extension of the CFO, assisting with the execution of global merger integration plans and operating strategies. This role will help oversee cross-functional teams, coordinate key initiatives, and present integration and strategy updates to the C-Suite and Finance Leadership. The position requires strong analytical and presentation skills, creativity, and the ability to translate complex plans into actionable outcomes.

Location: New York City, NY (hybrid flexible; with occasional business travel)

Work Schedule: Schedule fluctuates based on workloads during weekdays with afterhours / weekend work as needed

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Be a force multiplier for the CFO through direct partnership and act as a representative of the CFO as needed.
  2. Provide analytical insights and creative problem-solving to develop operating strategy and support strategic decision-making.
  3. Prepare and deliver presentations for the C-Suite and Finance Leadership.
  4. Serve as a sounding board for the CFO and execute projects and programs that are important to the success of the team and the business as a whole.
  5. Partner with the CFO and Leadership Team to execute global merger integration plans and operating strategies.
  6. Lead and support cross-functional teams and initiatives to ensure alignment and progress across key business strategies.
  7. Monitor project milestones, identify risks, and recommend solutions to keep initiatives on track.
  8. Represent the CFO and Leadership Team in key meetings, ensuring follow-up actions are tracked and completed.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience, with a background in consulting, project management, corporate strategy, or finance.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects, ideally within a global or integration-focused environment.
  • Exceptional PowerPoint and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex strategies into clear materials for senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in collaborating at the executive level.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support global initiatives and integration efforts.
