Currently hiring for Controls Electricians in Richmond, VA. As Controls Electrician you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems within an industrial environment. Pay is $25 - $32 per hour based on skill set and experience level. If you have at least 3 years as a controls electrician apply now!
Controls Electrician Responsibilities:
- Install, wire, and assemble electrical panels, control systems, sensors, and electronic devices
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment daily
- Interpret and work from electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Rebuild and assist with installation of new systems and equipment
- Terminate wiring, connect components, and ensure proper wiring harnesses and cable management
- Support control system upgrades, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical control wiring tasks
Controls Electrician Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience performing maintenance functions in a manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of electrical and machine-control troubleshooting (PLCs, controls, 3 phase motors, switches, etc.)
- Your own reliable transportation
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
