SUMMARY:
Our Human Resources team is looking to add a talented, dynamic and personality to the organization on a contractual basis. The contract HR Assistant will provide critical support to the HR department with a primary focus on full-cycle recruitment. Industry experience in manufacturing/machining/engineering is a requirement. Our contract HR Assistant must be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and possess the ability to embrace a fast-paced culture and deliver results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In partnership with managers and human resources: assist in the creation and posting of job descriptions.
- Post positions via UKG PRO and review/screen responses on a daily basis.
- Share resumes with hiring managers, coordinate phone interviews for qualified applicants.
- Coordinate in person interviews. Greet applicants and oversee interview schedule.
- Draft offer paperwork and present position to applicant.
- Coordinate with HR Generalist on hire dates and first day on-boarding steps, etc.
- Assist with HR projects, employee engagement activities, and events.
- Maintain accurate records in HR systems and assist reporting.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in full cycle recruitment of roles in a manufacturing environment (Quality/Machining/Engineering/Leadership).
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and deliver results.
- Excellent technical capabilities - MS Office suite & UKG PRO (HRIS program).
- Dependable and a quick learner.
- A business savvy individual who can sell the company and draw top talent to the organization.
