Loan Servicing Associate na The Cooperative Bank

TCB (The Cooperative Bank) has a full-time opportunity for a Loan Servicing Associate at our corporate headquarters in the heart of Roslindale Village. This position reports to the AVP, Loan Servicing Supervisor and is responsible for booking new loans and supporting the Loan Servicing team in the timely processing of new loans, investors, escrow, discharge pipelines, and performing general office duties.

Responsibilities

• Processes all paid loan files and documents including discharges and UCC terminations. Drafts confirmatory discharges and subordination agreements. Prepares payoff quotes.
• Maintains strong on-going working relationships with internal and external customers to provide agile, personalized customer service; responds to customer inquiries and requests.
• Executes routine loan transactions including but not limited to construction advances, loan payoff, payment corrections, special payments designated to tickler system, and participation payment remittances. Processes loan maintenance transactions including but not limited to address changes, automatic loan payments and modifications.
• Books new residential, commercial and consumer loans, including core banking system data input and monetary transactions.

Requirements:

• Education: High school degree or GED required.
• Six months to (2) two years of similar or related experience, loan servicing experience highly preferred.
• Experience with COCC Insight preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

• $29.28 – $36.60 an hour depending on experience
