SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting in the daily task of supplying manufacturing with a daily schedule and all the accompanying documentation to produce that schedule. Duties include, but are not limited to, light keying, sorting, dividing, stapling and arranging various manufacturing paperwork in the proper order. This position requires excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task while executing tasks at a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. It requires some interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Problem solving skills are a plus. Excellent time management skills required. Other duties assigned by manager as needed.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work closely with department team members and with production departments.
Assumes responsibility for resolving problems within defined limits, related to scheduling process and resolving these problems where possible or communicating it to the production manager, IT manager, or other resources.
Assists in expediting of batches to ensure on-time delivery where necessary.
Supports need for operational reports.
Must be well-versed in the use of MS Windows, desktop macros and shortcuts (creating, deleting, and using), the ability to copy/export Oracle files to Excel. Download, print, and separate by bucket required travelers, paperwork, etc. all needed materials to production areas in fast-paced environment without being distracted.
Ability and willingness to learn to operate multiple printers to fix paper jams, replace ribbons, align printer heads, replace rolls of labels, etc. which is an essential part of each day. Perform Total Production Maintenance duties as required.
Ability to rotate to other positions as required, work with minimal supervision, and a strong desire to serve internal customers.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma required. A 2-year associates degree a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as written procedures, cut-sheet data, and identification labels for products. Ability to document and write step by step procedures. Effectively be able to communicate via e-mail and telephone.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as averages, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Word, Excel and Outlook. AutoCAD would be a plus. Familiarity with Oracle system desired.
