Description

The Procurement Representative impacts delivering excellent customer service through timely processing of accepted quotes, order placement and oversight, and effective communication with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.  We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented person that can fully understand the quote-to-order process. The Procurement Representative is responsible for assisting the Account Support team and external departments while maintaining role ownership. The Procurement Representative is expected to be cross trained in preparing and delivering fast and accurate quotes and processing licensing for clients to provide quoting backup and aid in fully understanding and owning the role and resolving inquiries quickly. MSP experience preferred.

Core Responsibilities

  • Process accepted proposals to include sales orders, purchase orders and ticket or project creation
  • Procurement for client hardware and software needs
  • Manage licensing renewals for clients through e-delivery and updating documentation
  • Purchase Order management
  • E-delivery processing
  • 365 license request processing
  • Provide backup to put together accurate and timely quotes for clients
  • Attend company, client, and vendor events as appropriate
  • Other Account Support and Client Growth team initiatives as relevant to the role
  • Report key metrics weekly

  • Product delivery timeliness
  • E-delivery for support and licensing renewals timeliness

Requirements

  • At least 2-5 years accounting or purchasing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field encouraged
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Curiosity and a passion for learning new things
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills with experience identifying and escalating issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with team members
  • Motivated; requiring little instruction or guidance from their direct manager
  • Service management software platform experience a plus

You'll also need:

  • Excellent customer service skills internally and externally
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
  • The desire and ability to learn new technology

This is a fast-paced position with lots to learn and retain. There is opportunity for growth and it requires someone that is self-driven.

This is a hybrid position. Employees will work both on-site and remotely.
