This is a first shift position starting at $17.50 per hour located at our Ephrata Location

Job Summary:

Prepare customer orders from pick lists by repackaging product from bulk and/or retrieving them from finished goods. Match finished goods to customer packing slips and place orders in designated shipping boxes. Complete the shipping process by preparing and labeling routine and non-routine shipping boxes with customer orders.  Prepare customer shipments for large and complex orders including FEDEX Ground. Be available to assist and answer operational questions from Line Production team as needed and/or instructed by Operations Supervisor. Participate in operational brainstorming sessions. Complete all tasks in accordance with department policies and procedures.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Responsible for food safety
• Complete tasks assigned by Operations Supervisor
• Prepare finished products in quantity
• Determine correct product and package size for finished product
• Report any inferior product or packaging supplies to Operations Supervisor
• Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment between products
• Maintain allergen control between products
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Prepare and label shipping boxes and ship customer orders
• Prepare and ship large and complex non-routine customer orders
• Be an operational mentor for Line Production I & II Teammates
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all aspects of pick, pack, and ship process
• End of day cleaning and restocking

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred
• Experience in the following are all considered a plus:
  • Provide customer service via email and phone
  • Support and build content creation on websites including new items, images, keywords, video
  • Receive and stock warehouse experience
  • Replenish and organize warehouse experience
  • Build shipping boxes experience
  • Product pickup from local vendors

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
• Ability to stand on feet for entire shift
