What you´ll do

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Assist in the development and execution of the factory’s digital, automation, and OT security roadmap, ensuring alignment with global strategies and site business objectives
    • Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, IT, and corporate digital teams to support alignment on priorities, standards, and project timelines
    • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency, productivity, and risk reduction, developing clear business cases for leadership approval.
    • Manage multiple concurrent projects, from scoping and vendor selection to commissioning and close-out, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
    • Develop and track project charters, schedules, budgets, and KPIs to communicate progress to stakeholders at all levels.
    • Support change management efforts, ensuring seamless adoption of new technologies and systems by production and maintenance teams. Technical Leadership
    • Serve as the technical advisor for automation and digital transformation projects, providing oversight and guidance to internal teams, integrators, and contractors.
    • Ensure that all new and existing systems are designed, configured, and maintained to meet corporate and industry security standards.
    • Partner with site leadership, IT and cybersecurity teams to define secure network architectures, implement segmentation, and manage access control strategies.
    • Oversee troubleshooting escalation processes, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and root causes are documented and mitigated. Workforce Enablement & Training
    • Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and playbooks that support knowledge sharing and workforce upskilling.

What makes you a good fit

  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Proven experience in project management within industrial automation, OT security, or digital transformation.
    • Strong understanding of industrial automation platforms and industrial networking concepts to guide technical teams effectively.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with Rockwell Automation and Siemens systems, Thin Manager, or Plant Pax architectures.
    • Familiarity with Industry 4.0/IIoT platforms, analytics, or advanced data solutions.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external vendors in a production-focused environment.

The salary for this role is $81,900 - $96,300. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
