Job Title | Site Manager (Discipline TBC)
Location | Regional Office, Birmingham Project location – To be confirmed.
Hours | Mon-Thurs 7.30am-5pm, Fri 7.30am-3pm
Salary | Competitive depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Ensure company HSEQ policies & procedures are adhered to throughout the duration of the project.
- Ensure all RAMS are accurately developed and updated throughout the project to cover all work elements being carried out.
- Correspond directly with client / customer and other associated contractors where necessary throughout the duration of the project.
- Ensure all plant and equipment are procured correctly, in line with the specification and client requirements.
- In conjunction with the commercial department, throughout the project track costs (material & labour) to ensure the project will be delivered as per original target spends.
- Manage supply chain partners to ensure they fulfil company requirements and are engaged appropriately via fixed price JCT contract.
- Working alongside our in-house design team to review construction drawing to ensure they are in line with current regulations.
- Prepare, manage and monitor a programme of works to ensure that all activities are completed on time.
- In tandem with our commercial team, provide accurate information on contract variations and monthly claims.
- Ability to set out your own workload and to priorities the key elements of the project to ensure we deliver project programmes.
- Where required, survey existing services to determine appropriate options for successful integration with M&E services and BMS control packages.
- Assist in the preparation of accurate installation drawings and “As installed” drawings upon completion of works.
- Assist with the preparation of O&M manuals upon completion of the project.
- Ability to work in conjunction with the wider MEP management within your team to plan and deliver each contract in a proactive and efficient manner.
- Ability to work in conjunction with the wider project delivery and Alternative Heat teams and also with our onsite supply chain partners to ensure that all works are carried out safely, to a high standard and in line with the agreed programme.
- Any other duties deemed necessary by management.
Travel Arrangements
This role is aimed to be site based and will require the candidate to work in the confirmed area. As such the candidate will need to be flexible and able to commute to / within this region.
Criteria
- Previous experience at a similar level.
- Ability to work as part of a wider delivery team, being responsible for all Discipline TBC biased delivery activities, reporting into the project manager and wider alternative Heat team.
- Extensive knowledge of and ability to deliver contracts in line with all applicable current regulations.
- Computer skills including the ability to operate Microsoft Office, excel & works planner.
- Organised and structured approach to your work.
- Full UK Driving License
- Good interpersonal Skills
