Eramine Sudamérica SA is a subsidiary of Eramet, a French global mining and metallurgical group. It is located in the Salar Centenario Ratones, 3,800 meters above sea level, in the department of Los Andes, in the province of Salta, Argentina.
Exploration activities began 12 years ago, and at the end of 2019, our pilot plant began operating, demonstrating the quality of the final lithium carbonate product, with more than 90% direct extraction efficiency.
CORPORATE AFFAIRS MANAGER
Description: The Corporate Affairs Manager will be responsible for strengthening Eramine's institutional presence in Salta, managing relationships with key authorities, communities, and associations. They will lead institutional lobbying, monitor the regulatory and political environment, and advise management on strategic actions. In addition, they will promote the company's reputation through events and communication actions, support ESG initiatives, and represent Eramine in public-private spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Build and strengthen Eramine's network of contacts in Salta and the NOA region, including communities near the site, by mapping key players and building relationships based on trust.
- Organize networking activities and participate in bilateral negotiations with federal and provincial governments.
- Oversee the process of obtaining permits from the relevant authorities.
- Address regulatory, political, and business climate issues in the province, provide strategic advice, anticipate competitor movements, and prepare reports for senior management and headquarters.
- Promote Eramine's visibility through local, regional, and national events and actions, also supporting the company's ESG initiatives.
- Develop influence policies and represent Eramine in relevant professional associations and public-private spaces
Your profile:
- University degree in Political Science, Economics, or Law, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in public affairs, especially in mining, oil, gas, or large industrial companies with high regulatory standards. Relevant experience in Salta and the NOA region.
- Proven ability to lead at a senior level in multicultural contexts, develop projects from scratch, and establish internal monitoring and reporting processes.
- Ability to influence and interact effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, with strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Global and strategic vision, ability to synthesize and understand technical and political issues, combined with knowledge of provincial political and administrative systems.
- Resident or willing to relocate to Salta with an understanding of local idiosyncrasies.
- Fluent in Spanish and English. French intermidiate level desirable.
