About the team:
The office of ethics and compliance is responsible for developing and operating SAP’s compliance program, including support for the SAP code of business conduct and related compliance policies and procedures. We focus on FCPA, UK Bribery act, and other applicable bribery and corruption laws and fraud among other matters.
What you’ll do:
Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Field Compliance Officer
Location: São Paulo, Brazil
In this role, you’ll:
The working student will assist with various operational tasks such as but not limited to:
- The intern will experience and learn how a corporate compliance organization for a global company function
- This position will provide exposure to project management, case management software, project management, training and other skills
- Monitoring compliance with SAP’s internal policies and procedures
- Assist in the design and establishment of appropriate and consistent standards and controls
- Coordinate monthly compliance metrics and prepare management dashboard reports
- Support with record management efforts
- Aid in projects as deemed priority by management
- Assist with projects, research, and managing data
- Detection and prevention of fraud or corruption
- In-depth research and interpretation of written guidelines and documents
- Review of compliance issues
- Regional (Latin America and Caribbean) scope
Who you are:
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- You are a currently enrolled student at a university studying preferably in the following fields: Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, Legal, Accounting and or Finance & Administration
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
- Superior Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, AI and SharePoint
- Demonstrated experience building, sustaining and leveraging relationships
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills and attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills
- Demonstrated willingness to take initiative and act decisively
- Ability to think strategically and influence teammates on multiple, cross-functional teams
- Positive, can-do attitude while working remotely
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both Portuguese and English
- Ability to work independently and organize, manage, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data to identify trends and themes
- Must be detail conscious, responsible, and able to work well in a team environment.
