Job Summary: Provides support to the Vice President for facility architectural design, construction, engineering and implementation of various healthcare construction and renovation projects to ensure that each is designed to be functionally appropriate, completed on schedule and within budget, is code compliant and constructed to serve the purpose for which it was designed.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Engineering, or Building Science.
- Not required but highly desirable to be a registered architect, a licensed engineer or a licensed general contractor in the state of North Carolina. Seven (7) years progressive experience in a design, engineering or construction field with at least 5 years’ experience in healthcare design and/or construction.
- Must possess a working knowledge of general construction ways and means, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems and all pertinent codes and licensure requirements.
