- Coordinate, manage, implement and revise the Districts Technology Standards to accommodate District approved changes to these standards
- Monitor campus device needs in accordance with the District Technology Standards in order to forcast needs and establish budgetary plans and device distribution strategies in efforts to stay ahead of the need being reported by campus staff, as appropriate.
- Forecast and identify technology needs and refresh cycles based on Technology Standards, equipment age, maintenance needs and fluctuations in equipment availibility
- Coordinate, manage, train, implement and revise as necessary the Districts process and procedures for student device 1:1 program at elementary and secondary schools Districtwide
- Coordinate, manage, train, implement and maintain the Districts process and procedures for student device assignments
- Develop procedures and guidelines and conduct training to campus staff regarding student device distribution, collection, and storage.
- Coordinate the annual Student Device Check program including planning, training, and implementation guidance, reporting, and follow-up.
- Coordinate, manage, monitor, train, implement and maintain the District process and procedures for teacher laptop Districtwide assignment, inventory tracking, collection and device refresh schedules including related budgetary planning
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of pilot programs evaluating campus technology equipment such as Chromebooks, iPads and laptops, cabinets, device storage lockers
- Coordinate and develop annual device refresh replacement cycles by monitoring device classifications such as end-of-life date, lost/stolen devices and items that are beyond economic repair
- Manage accounting and budget process for 1:1 program student fees
- Coordinate device deactivations such as for lost/stolen devices and monitor device usage data for unused checked-out devices for possible collection or deactivation
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Technology Support Administrator to oversee the activities of the employees of the Student-Technology Service Center
- Provides leadership and direction to the planning and implementation of projects within the technology standards, Student Technology Service Center, and asset inventory departments.
- Coordinate, manage, implement and revise the Districts processes and procedures related to Districtwide fixed and non-fixed asset inventory and perform training on the processes and procedures to other teams conducting the inventory processes
- Monitor and guide campus staff on device asset management practices including the development and implementation of regular staff training
- Work with the specialist overseeing the Asset Management software system; to ensure the system is updated and accurately reporting device location, status, and funding source including the tracking of grant related funds as related to the implementation of established Technology Standards
- Coordinate, manage and guide the implementation of inventory automation to reduce the manual labor involved in the inventory of technology assets
- Assist in the procurement process for technology refresh cycles, acquiring bids and/or quotes and processing the purchasing orders related to the implementation of established Technology Standards.
- Review campus purchase requests related to the implementation of established Technology Standards to understand the need and determine if the need should be addressed through a modification of the Districtwide technology standard
- Coordinate regular training of technology and campus/district staff on purchasing procedures and policies related to the implementation of established Technology Standards.
- Maintain and update district technology contracts renewal dates/deadlines related to campus technology equipment such as Chromebooks, iPads and laptops, cabinets, device storage lockers and related 3rd party deployment support related to the implementation of established Technology Standards.
- Develop RFP documents for the purchase Technology supplies and equipment for the district and ensure district bidding procedures are followed while meeting federal and state laws related to the implementation of established Technology Standards.
- Coordinate with the district budget administrators for grants, annual maintenance & operations funds, as well as bond funds related to the implementation of established Technology Standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Associate Director for Technology Support Services and all departments and campuses to purchase, receive and deploy all technology hardware related to the implementation of established Technology Standards.
- Works collaboratively with each technology office, purchasing office and the office of Curriculum and Instruction.
- Make recommendations for district technology purchases based on evaluations and quotes related to the implementation of established Technology Standards.
- Work with vendor representative to ensure full understanding of bid requirements and to maintain awareness of product changes, price changes or other information that could materially affect the purchasing of items related to the implementation of established Technology Standards.
- Coordinate the development of board agenda Technology Services Department documents items related to established Technology Standards.
- Work in polite, courteous, and customer service-oriented manner with district personnel to aid in obtaining and understanding district needs for goods and services.

The Technology Standards Coordinator will coordinate the implementation, management and oversight of the District's Technology Standards for the District. The Coordinator will develop proactive plans for ensuring Districtwide technology equipment is available as reflected in the approved Technology Standards by working with District staff, campus staff, technology staff and other groups collaboratively to ensure Technology Standards meet Instructional needs. The Technology Standards Coordinator will manage budgets and coordinate the acquisition of technology equipment through the development of RFPs, vendor quotes, purchase orders, and contracts.
