We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Fitness Concierge to join our Pier Sixty-Six Club team!
Reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness, you will:
Responsibilities:- Keeping Club Fitness and Resort Gym in pristine condition. Ensuring cleanliness of machines, floors, locker rooms, Fitness storage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby entrance and other common areas, ensuring they are always in optimal condition. Ensuring that all public spaces in Villa III Club center and Resort Gym are fully stocked with appropriate amenities throughout the day (towels, beverage, etc.). Ensure that saunas, fitness equipment, coffee machine and other amenities are working properly
- Dust all surfaces including furniture, fixtures, and electronics
- Remove trash and place in designated area.
- Wipe and sanitize high-touch areas
- Maintain toilet, sink, and shower/tub, ...
- Wipe mirrors and any glass surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets or rugs, sweep and mop hard floors
- Replace used bathroom toiletries and remove soiled towels / terry & replace with clean.
- Keeping amenities stocked in the locker rooms and keeping inventory on what needs to be ordered, restocked, etc.
- Frequently walking fitness floor to clean equipment and assisting members and guests when needed.
- Assisting with setting up and breaking down fitness classes and events in the Club and the Resort under supervision of fitness Trainer.
- Communicating with Housekeeping, Engineering, and any other department to ensure rapid and efficient resolutions.
- Assist with other tasks as required and where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests
- Follow the lost & found hotel policies.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality management or related field education is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling, as well as requirements and use of equipment is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively or as a part of a team.
- Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal. Provide legible communication.
- Physical mobility and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
