About the Role 

We are seeking a part-time Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) Manager to support our UK and Ireland operations. This role has become available as our current QEHS Manager is retiring, creating an exciting opportunity to step into a position of responsibility and impact. 

In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance, maintain ISO9001:2015 certification, and provide guidance and support to our teams. 

Your Key Tasks & Responsibilities 

  • Act as the official H&S Officer for all UK & Ireland sites. 

  • Maintain ISO9001:2015 certification and perform QA audits. 

  • Review and update risk assessments and safety policies. 

  • Oversee premises safety, security, and maintenance. 

  • Advise management and staff on H&S legislation and best practices. 

  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions. 

  • Coordinate first aid provisions and training for staff. 

  • Support HR on occupational health and employee wellbeing initiatives. 

  • Assist with customer approvals, pre-qualification questionnaires, and compliance documentation. 

 

Your Profile 

We are looking for someone who is: 

  • Highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented. 

  • Proactive, trustworthy, flexible, and calm under pressure. 

  • A strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills. 

  • Able to work independently and manage part-time responsibilities effectively. 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification. 

  • ISO9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification. 

  • Construction DM qualification is an advantage. 

  • Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and QA accreditations. 

  • Experience in industrial or technical environments preferred. 

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
