JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE

•    Drive and deliver a UX product design vision, along with a plan for evolutionary, iterative updates, that actualize the larger vision over time. 
•    Build strong relationships and operating rhythms with stakeholders inside and outside their core product team to efficiently implement user experiences that are cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed.
•    Collaborate with product and engineering to define patient experiences, nail interaction and visual details, and shepherd delivery. 
•    Work with the UX research to drive sound product design and deepen our understanding of patient needs. 
•    Maintain and evolve our visual standards to ensure our products are distinctive, intuitive, scalable and effective. 
•    Establish best practices for result oriented experience design execution and smooth change management. 
•    Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship for a team of UX Product Designers; lead creative and holistic thinking across diverse product releases, platforms, and devices. 
•    Guide the careers of your team members, working closely with each of them to help them realize their full potential.

OTHER

•    Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against goals and objectives which are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic and time bound.
•    Act as an ambassador for DP World at all timesAlways act as an ambassador for DP World when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
•    Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

KEY DELIVERABLES:

  • Be an inspiring and a hands-on design managerleader, growing and mentoring a small, focused design team, while leading design craft by example. 
  • Coach and mentor UX product designers in your team. Attract design talent to the team, hire, grow, retain and promote designers.
  • Work with other managers and cross functional stakeholders and functional leaders to drive the design strategy, improve processes, and align team objectives with critical initiatives. Deeply engage with business, product management and engineering teams for consistent impact. 
  • Evaluate design performance by filtering through customer surveysusability studies and responses from UX research to determine how well the design performed. It is crucial to have a finger on the pulse of what doesn't work, and how to improve or enhance quickly.
  • Guide the vision and execution of your team over the long and short term to drive impact through design.

Driving innovation and lean UX methods to deliver seamless and pleasing user experience across products.
