Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Job Summary:
Responsible for assembling components to customer specifications and requirements. Notify Assembly Lead or area supervisor of any problems relating to safety, quality or production.
Essential Job Functions:
- Must make safety a priority, deliver safety messages assist employees with safety related issues and concerns.
- Perform assembly procedures assigned by the Assembly Lead
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings and work instructions
- Utilize arbor press, insert installation tools, torque wrenches, precision measuring equipment, riveters, manual vertical mill, various hand tools, sealants, paint, and oils to complete assemblies
- Keeps product flowing by meeting production efficiency standards
- Observe all company policies, rules and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.
- Recommends measures to improve efficiency and production.
- Inspects products to verify conformance to customer and company specifications
- Assists fellow assembly workers in solving work problems.
- Trains employees on the proper operation of various equipment, work procedures and documentation necessary to produce products of consistent quality.
- Perform other duties as required, assigned or directed.
Requirements
Job Specifications:
- Assembly or line production experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
- Basic hand tool knowledge required
