OVERVIEW: The Director of Marketing Technology will establish and execute the company’s Marketing Technology roadmap. This leader will oversee marketing products, technologies, and data capabilities, turning insights into actionable outcomes that drive business growth. They will build and manage a high-performing team that embraces innovation, leverages synergies from acquired businesses, and delivers industry-leading solutions at the intersection of Marketing and Technology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and manage marketing products, services, and capabilities that drive revenue growth and customer excellence.
- Lead the strategic growth of digital marketing products and technologies.
- Drive new leads, engagement, and experiences through continual innovation using marketing technologies and data.
- Aligns business needs with innovative solutions.
- Ensure strategies are data-driven, leveraging KPIs and rapid iteration to improve leads, engagement, conversion, and customer experience.
- Develop and oversee marketing technology and data initiatives that create new value propositions.
- Apply a customer-centric approach rooted in insights, data, and analysis.
- Partner with Marketing, Technology, and Product leaders to set goals, align expectations, and exceed results.
- Manage the transition of newly developed products and technologies to appropriate stakeholders.
- Lead business users in effectively applying technologies and data to optimize experiences and outcomes.
- Build, lead, and coach cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and execute projects.
- Analyze market data for short- and long-term opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with team members, customers, sales, and stakeholders.
- Ensure communication and alignment across teams and stakeholders.
- All other duties as assigned.
KEY SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Technology, Data, or related field.
- 5+ years in digital or growth marketing leadership, preferably in a multi-channel, performance-driven environment.
- 5+ years leading and mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Proven strategic leadership with ability to identify trends, translate ideas into executable strategies, and provide feedback to leadership.
- Strong critical thinking, planning, and execution skills; data- and insight-driven.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- In-depth market research skills.
- Strong understanding of technology with ability to work with partners to deliver solutions.
- Continuous learner, comfortable adopting new technologies and approaches.
