Salary: $21.68-$27.70 per hour

Position Overview: The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general clean up and maintenance of the surrounding yard areas of the plant; the disposal of pallets, drums, lids, rings, plastic bottles, purepaks and any other materials that may be deemed unusable. 

Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: None. 

Amount of Travel Involved: None. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
• Receives bulk Co2 / nitrogen deliveries. 
• Receives bulk caustic deliveries. 
• Receives bulk sweetener deliveries.  
• Fill Co2 tanks.  
• Performs facilities ground maintenance.  
• Conducts Facilities storm water pollution prevention. 
• Repairs and maintains offices. 
• Recycle cans. bottles, and pallets.  
• General 
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, coworkers, and management. 
• Regular and punctual attendance. 
• Work scheduled shift, weekends, and extended hours as required. 
• Keep tools and work area clean and sanitary.  
• All other duties as assigned. 
• Perform minor lighting repair and maintenance. 
• Obtain working at heights Boom Lift Certification. 
• Obtain working at heights Scissor Lift Certification. 
• Makes building repairs.
• Perform proper Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO). 
• Perform minor plumbing tasks. 
• Operate floor scrubber. 
• Assemble pallet racking. 
• Receive empty Production pallets. 
• Ship and load dunnage.  
• Ship nonconforming pallets. 
• Maintain UV filtration sweetener silos. 
• Obtain basic knowledge of refrigeration systems. 
• Obtain basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical.

Education and/or Experience: 

• Three to six months related experience and/or training required. 
• High school or equivalent preferred.  
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
