Quality Seibi Technician
Job Summary:
Our client in Princeton, IN is looking for a Quality Seibi Technician. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do:
- Check/confirm body weld jigs, tools, pallets, parts and assemblies to meet quality targets/KPIs for new model launch.
- Prepare, troubleshoot and confirm new tooling/equipment, parts and sub-assemblies at various tool/equipment vendors. Support weld and tool quality confirmation activities at NAMCs from installation through SOP.
- Create detailed Quality Seibi daily plans, Project Task Reports, Problem Follow Sheets, track activity status, coordinate Safety communications (JSA, CMs/remedies to unsafe conditions, & safety audits), and support daily/weekly verbal and written communication with the Quality Seibi Project Leader, BAC and Seibi Management.
Basics:
- High school diploma or higher college degree.
- Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Power-Point, Word, Outlook) [Intermediate].
- Proficient with Digital Engineering tools related to design/engineering/certification including: CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, PolyWorks, AutoCAD.
- Manufacturing Quality - Strong ability to review and interpret part, machine / tool/equipment drawings and 2D/3D data.
- Proficient with Body Quality measurement tools and techniques.
- Mechanical Proficiency - Auto Repair (General Automotive), Tool Maintenance.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree (or higher) in a Technical Field [Y/N (textbox)].
- Automotive Body Quality experience [3 year preferred].
- Experience with mentoring and/or technical training.
- Proficient with DE tools related to Body Weld metrology/dimensional measurement, including: Catia, AutoCAD etc.
- Skilled in gathering and analyzing all quality related part/jig/CMM data. Proficient with basic robot teaching.
- Automotive Body Dimensional Quality experience [1 year required].
