We are seeking BI Engineers to develop and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards using tools such as Cognos, Power BI, or Tableau to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Position will be done REMOTE.
Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain interactive BI reports and dashboards primarily using Power BI.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
Integrate diverse data sources into cohesive reporting environments.
Optimize report performance and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of visualizations.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that support strategic decisions.
Facilitate data governance and documentation on BI development processes.
Support and troubleshoot BI tools and dashboards, ensuring end-user satisfaction.
Mentor junior BI developers and guide best practices in BI development and visualization.
Stay current on BI technology trends and recommend improvements.
8+ years of hands-on experience in BI development with a strong focus on Power BI.
Proficiency in other BI tools such as Cognos and Tableau is a plus.
Strong skills in SQL and data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience integrating and harmonizing data from multiple sources.
Solid understanding of business operations and ability to translate business needs into BI solutions.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with strong time management.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field preferred.
