What is this role?
As a Forklift Operator for Cirkul you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, load and unload products within the warehouse. This role ensures all inbound and outbound shipments are handled properly to maintain product integrity, support on-time deliveries, and uphold warehouse safety and quality standards.
What does an average day look like?
Driving Results: Safety operator forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment to load and unload trucks.
Taking Ownership: Verify product, quantities, and condition of shipments against bills of lading or shipping documents.
Making Decisions: Prepare outbound shipments for delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Cultivating Relationships: Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors.
Instilling Trust: Follow all warehouse policies, safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Customer Focus: Secure loads on trailers to prevent shifting, damage or safety hazards during transport.
Working only 14 days a month in a 4:3 rotating schedule.
What background should you have?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift license/certification.
- 3-5 years of forklift or dock experience.
- Strong knowledge of loading/unloading procedures and freight safety.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
