About the Job 

The Learning and Resource Associate supports Compass’s Learning & Development and Client Engagement work, ensuring that client-facing resources, staff development opportunities, and communications are timely, accessible, and impactful. This position plays a key role in developing educational content, coordinating workshops, managing logistics, and facilitating communication among clients, partners, and internal staff 

Reporting to the Manager of Learning and Development, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented, mission-driven team player who is passionate about personal finance, education, and community engagement.

  • Skilled at managing scheduling, logistics, and technology for in-person and virtual workshops.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. 

  • Proficiency in Gmail, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and/or Salesforce. 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

Client-Facing Learning and Engagement 

  • Coordinate the scheduling, logistics, and technical support for monthly or bi-monthly client workshops. 

  • Provide support for client-facing learning opportunities, including preparing materials, setting up in-person/virtual spaces, and following up with clients as needed. 

  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to draft and distribute a monthly client newsletter, in partnership with the Manager of Learning and Development. 

 

Resource and Content Management 

  • Work with external content experts and internal stakeholders to review and organize coaching tools and resource content. 

  • Draft and support the dissemination of clear, culturally responsive, and multilingual communications to clients regarding financial resources, community events, or new programs. 

 

Staff Development Support 

  • In collaboration with Human Resources, compile and share professional development opportunities (e.g., trainings, webinars, certifications) with coaching staff. 

  • Track participation and gather feedback from staff to support continuous improvement of learning offerings. 

  • Maintain basic knowledge of Compass’s coaching and FSS program models to ensure communication and content is accurate and supportive to client facing staff. 

 

Administrative and Ad-Hoc Support 

  • Respond to client inquiries or internal questions related to resources, workshops, or development opportunities. 

  • Provide general support to the Learning & Development function, including documentation, scheduling, and project coordination. 

 

Qualifications  

Required: 

  • Demonstrated commitment to Compass’s mission and a passion for working with families with low incomes. 

  • Cultural humility and the ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. 

  • Comfort using or learning digital tools for scheduling, communication, and document sharing. 

 

Preferred: 

  • Familiarity with trauma-informed or equity-centered communication. 

  • Experience with community outreach, adult learning, or nonprofit programming. 

 

Benefits     

  • The salary range for this role is $47,170-$54,000, commensurate with experience. We’ll promote your professional growth and development by providing access to a competitive salary and benefits package and additional employee benefits that include but are not limited to:
