Position Summary
Observes and assists in various capacities to Orlando Health Imaging areas.
Location: 392 Rinehart Rd Suite 1040, Lake Mary, FL 32746
Schedule: Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM -Occasional Saturdays may be required, depending on operational needs
Responsibilities:Essential Functions
• Transports bed, stretcher, and wheelchair patientsin a safe, professional manner, following HIPPA and handoff compliance.
• Uses double identifiers on every patient per The Joint Commission regulationsfor patient safety.
• Orders and receives weekly radiology supplies.
• Picks up and deliversrequisitions, specimens, and other materials within the facility.
• Assists with stocking and cleaning ofrooms, puts away supplies correctly.
• Reportsfaulty equipment, hazardous conditions and/or incidentsto supervisor forfollow up.
• Returns equipment to designated storage area and maintains transport equipment. Cleans, deodorizes, and disinfects
equipment as needed.
• Maintains O2/suction supplies asrequired perfacility.
• Utilizes all Corporate Radiology computer systems effectively and accurately.
• Deliversmail interdepartmentally as needed.
• AdherestoOrlando Health’smission statement and strategic imperatives.
• Maintainsreasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures, department guidelines, and education requirements.
Education/Training
• High School graduate or equivalentisrequired.
Licensure/Certification
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 3months of hire
Experience
• IV and Phlebotomy skills required
