Summary – basic function of the role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Writer to join our team in Madrid. Position has full responsibility to manage and co-ordinate all activities in relation with technical literature of the projects delivered, providing to all New Product Development "NPD" and Custom Special products "CsP" the correct documentation on time, providing the final revision of these according the delivery of the product to the final client or entities with the service Dpt.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- The Technical writer reports in a daily base to the Project Manager. and provides all the support required in the Lifting COE to all departments and when required to the rest of the COE and ETG entities worldwide.
- Responsible to request to engineering & service department all the information required to make all literature documents concerning projects in NPD & CsP:
- Instruction book
- Trouble shooting
- Data sheet
- Spare part list required.
- Service plan
- Maintenance plan
- Participate actively in the FMAE of all project and quotations if required.
- Storage and manage the necessary certificates of the supplied products.
- Collaborate actively with the service engineers to provide revision of the literature documents after SAT is finished and delivered to client.
- In line with Operation requirements create, implement, and maintain standard work manuals and procedures if required.
- Participate actively in the activities in the COE like Lesson learned, Lead events, Master Classes, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver the documentation required on time. Launching date in the NPD and CsP is a priority target, so that documentation is the last in queue.
- Ensure all HSSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced in Lifting COE.
- Proactively participate to safety awareness and improvement
- Always represent the Company in a professional manner, both internally and externally. Follow the published processes and comply with all company policies and procedures. Be an ambassador for the businesses ensure that Health & Safety always comes first.
Education and Experience
- Degree in high technical school or demonstrated experience in mechanical, hydraulic &/or electric applications.
- Computer skills of Microsoft Office.
- Advanced systems and analytical computer skills of (AutoCAD, CREO or SOLID, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects).
- Self-starter.
- Execution focused.
- Experienced in safety policies.
- Proficiency in English, additional languages preferred.
