Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the global deployment and harmonization of ASPICE-compliant processes across all embedded software development units.
  • Define, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ASPICE, IATF 16949, and CMMI-DEV.
  • Provide leadership and direction to regional quality teams, ensuring global process standardization and compliance.
  • Head and mentor cross-functional quality groups including the SEPG, Internal Quality Auditors, and Project QA leads.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal ASPICE gap assessments, track closure actions, and ensure audit readiness.
  • Drive Management Review Meetings, perform root cause analysis, and enforce corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with business and engineering leaders to align quality initiatives with product development goals and customer expectations.
  • Lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of quality metrics and key performance indicators across programs.
  • Promote continuous process improvement, identify best practices, and lead transformation projects.
  • Conduct training and workshops on ASPICE implementation, quality assurance tools, and audit preparedness.
  • Act as the lead interface for external assessments, customer audits, and third-party ASPICE appraisals. 

 

Required Skills and Experience 

  • 15–20 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a primary focus on automotive embedded systems.
  • Proven track record of leading ASPICE implementation across multiple global development units.
  • Deep knowledge of ASPICE, IATF 16949, and CMMI-DEV frameworks.
  • Experience as a Management Representative or Lead for process audits and quality system maturity programs.
  • Strong expertise in SDLC, PDLC, configuration management, and quality engineering for software projects.
  • Proficient in 7QC tools, root cause analysis, CAPA, and process audits.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across cultures and geographies.
  • Ability to define, deploy, and improve scalable, measurable, and efficient software quality processes. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Certified ASPICE Provisional or Competent Assessor.
  • Lead Auditor certification in IATF 16949 and/or CMMI.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Hybrid software development environments.
  • Exposure to change management and global process transformation programs.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
