Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the team for Mechanical Design related activities
- Should function as a technical point of contact for assigned work package scope
- Should be able to work independently and with CFT
- Should be able to create BOM/RFQ for any systems
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant design tools and technologies
- Should be able to create 3D Model and drawings from conceptual sketch
- Should be able to apply GD&T and Tolerance stack-up analysis for components/Sub-system.
- Able to do component fabrication and testing
- Create technical documentation using Microsoft word, Excel, Etc.,
- Should be able to work productively to ensure the tasks are completed within timeline
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 5-8 years of experience as a mechanical Engineer in Design of Products/Machines/SPM
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals (physics, materials, Standards)
- Hands on experience in fixture designs, welding fixtures
- Hands on experience in material selection and sourcing of engineering components.
- Knowledge in toggle clamps and clamping techniques
- Good knowledge in GD&T
- Good knowledge in ANSI Y14.5 drafting standards
- Certification in SolidWorks/Creo is an added advantage
- Should have strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Should have good communication skills and candidate from Manufacturing Industry preferred.
