Restorative Aide na SEVEN ACRES JEWISH SENIOR CARE SERV

Description

• Assist in the planning and implementation of individualized restorative care programs under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Assist patients with active and passive range of motion exercises, as well as transfers and ambulation per the plan of care, Bowel and Bladder Program
• Perform treatments such as whirlpool, sitz and partial baths, application of hot and cold packs, and enemas
• Document patient responses to treatments and progress towards goals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, families, and staff
• Promote positive interactions with patients, families, and staff members
• Serve as a resource to patients, families, and staff regarding restorative care
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• Assist with admissions and discharge planning
• Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the facility
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA certification 
• At least one year of experience working with the elderly, disabled, or those with chronic illnesses
• Compassionate and caring personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Associate’s degree in nursing or related field
• BLS certification
• Familiarity with common restorative therapies, such as range of motion exercises
