A DAISO Sr. Store Manager will oversee the daily operations of two assigned stores within a 15-mile radius. The Sr. Store Manager will ensure the smooth running of store operations to maximize sales and minimize costs. An effective Sr. Store Manager will be able to motivate all store personnel to perform according to their maximum capability. The goal is to manage both stores in ways that boost revenues and develop the business.
· Develop business strategies to raise both store’s customer base, expand store traffic, increase basket size and optimize profitability
- Manage the profitable operation of a retail store with emphasis on recruiting, hiring, training and developing store associates in both operations and merchandising
- Perform or assign all opening and closing procedures
- Implement all operational and merchandising directions that is communicated from HQ Product and Merchandising Team
- Maintain a high standard of merchandising, placement, store signage, and proper display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere for customers
- Assist in the achievement of the store's maximum profit contribution
- Protect all company assets
- Maintain a high level of good customer service
- Creative problem solving in the areas of:
o Associate Development
o Maximizing Sales Potential
o Controlling Expense and Shrink
o Merchandise Display
o Store Signage Placement
· Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
· Managing the store, both retail and company, inventory, including loss prevention through theft and breakage
· Effectively create store schedules to meet customer demand while meeting payroll targets
Required Education, Certifications and Work-Related Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years prior retail management experience
- Have at least one year of Daiso Store Manager experience with proven results.

- Strong productivity management ability in freight processing
- Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills
