Description

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Champion client retention through proactive engagement and personalized service.
  • Conduct policy review calls to ensure clients understand their coverage, identify gaps, and recommend additional products or coverages as needed.
  • Requote policies as necessary to meet client needs and retain the business.
  • Develop and execute targeted retention and win-back campaigns using email, direct mail, phone calls, and social media.
  • Act as overflow support for both service and sales teams.
  • Maintain accurate client records in CRM and agency management systems.
  • Ensure growth of the book of business is consistent with and in support of the strategic goals and objectives of the Insurance Agency.
  • Promote products of carriers and strategic partners and achieve cross product referral goals.
  • Stay current on industry trends and developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Build relationships with partner credit unions to foster lead generation and book of business growth including attendance at community engagement events and participation in retail staff referral development/product training.
  • Be available to discuss insurance where the member would like to do business, i.e. in person, phone, video. Travel to and between partner credit union financial centers may be needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Property, Casualty, Life, Accident & Health insurance licenses are preferred, but not immediately required.  If not already held, the individual must obtain P&C license within first 90 days of employment and then Life, Accident & Health within agreed upon timeframe from management.
  • Comfortable working with technology and able to become proficient in agency systems and commonly used software following training.  

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS  

The position requires the following physical activities within varying environmental conditions:

  • Occasionally remaining in a stationary position which may be standing or sitting for a prolonged period of time.
  • Occasional travel or moving from one office location to another or from one department to another at the headquarters building.
  • Occasional lifting, moving, or adjusting objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Constant communication with others through various channels including verbal, email, and chat of which the last two may require consistent use of a keyboard and mouse or another electronic device.
  • Work will be in a commercially reasonable temperature-controlled environment.
  • Occasional temporary exterior site review which could be in outdoor elements of wind, rain, or snow.
