Summary | CPCNH is a non-profit, joint powers agency, providing power aggregation services (under NH RSA 53-E). Community Power Aggregation is a unique model where communities work together towards common goals to control their energy futures. CPCNH’s mission is to power New Hampshire communities with local energy, education, and advocacy. As of September 2025, CPCNH comprised 65 municipal and 4 county Members across New Hampshire. Established in 2021 with 14 original Member Communities, CPCNH launched power supply services in April 2023, and has become the second-largest power supplier in NH. In the first half of 2025, the organization supplied about 810,000 MWh of power to ~190,000 metered accounts for commercial, municipal, and residential customers. The Power Operations Director position is new to a small and growing team, replacing previously contracted support. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Power Operations directs and coordinates assigned resources, including a Senior Energy Analyst, to lead and develop power operations for CPCNH customers, and technical and data analytics operations towards informed, quality decision making. |
Essential functions |

Qualifications & competencies | Education. Bachelor’s in a relevant field required. Technical certification(s) and/or advanced degree preferred. Work experience. 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in power agency, utility, system operator, competitive supplier, and/or community choice aggregation energy market operations and organizational development. Skills, knowledge.
