Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a Spanish Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client.

Location: New York City, New York – Financial District (near Cliff St. & Fulton St.)
Preferred start date: ASAP
Lesson format: Face-to-face, in-person
Details
Availability: Flexible – teacher can suggest
Lesson Frequency: 5 times per week
Lesson Duration: 1–1.5 hours each
Current level: Novice High
Native/other languages: English
Goals:
Build strong foundations in Spanish for both daily and business communication
Prepare to lead a professional team in Latin America
Gain solid knowledge and confidence using Spanish in work settings
Additional Information:
This is the student’s fourth language, and she is highly experienced with language learning
Relies heavily on the teacher’s methodology, approach, and engaging teaching style
Responsibilities
Design intensive lessons to accelerate Spanish acquisition
Balance daily communication with business-focused Spanish
Develop vocabulary and conversation skills for professional leadership
Incorporate cultural insights relevant to Latin American business environments
Adapt methodology to meet the student’s advanced experience as a language learner
Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish
Certificate or degree in language teaching, linguistics, education, or related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching adults, ideally in business contexts
Ability to create engaging, intensive lessons for fast progress
Experience tailoring methodology for highly motivated, experienced language learners
