The Assistant Nurse Manager-Virtual Health (ANM VH) is primarily responsible for assisting the Virtual Health Manager(s) and Director(s), in managing multiple virtual health programs, both in the ambulatory and inpatient setting. This could include but is not limited to Nurse Triage, Remote Patient Monitoring, School Based Health, Video Visits, Telemetry Monitoring, Tele-Sitting, Virtual Observation and Virtual Nursing. The ANM VH will be required to be an effective troubleshooter, and support system-wide associates in the programs listed above. The AMN VH presents a positive impression with all internal and external collaborators. The ANM VH must be a loyal team player, who can work autonomously with independent thinking, judgment, discretion, confidentiality, decision-making and exhibit problem-solving and critical thinking skills in stressful situations. The ANM VH will strive for innovative solutions to problems with a mindset of continuous process improvement.Administrative duties include adjusting and approving timecards of associates, scheduling, fielding questions from associates and interdisciplinary departments, monitoring quality assurance, and providing orientation and ongoing training for the virtual health programs and associates. In addition, the ANM will assist the VH leadership team in the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. The ANM VH is a first level exempt management position designed to meet business needs as well as create a career development opportunity in preparation for broader leadership roles. The ANM reports to the Director of Virtual Health.

LEADERSHIP-RELATED CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a motivational, positive, and supportive work environment for associates to include praise and recognition.
- Assist leadership with facilitating effective communication and engagement with interdisciplinary teams and departments.
- Attending staff meetings and leadership meetings.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned are completed on a timely, thorough and accurate basis. This includes the potential to fill in for other roles during times of short staffing.
- Ensuring staffing, purchases and productivity is working toward annual budgetary goals for the department through collaboration with the leadership team.
- Interpret and analyze data to assess, plan, and contribute to the development of capital/operational business plans which support the business unit and the strategic plan of the organization.
ASSOCIATE-RELATED CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works with HR and leadership to interview candidates for openings.
- Consult with leadership for data collection and associate observation to aid preparing information for coaching and performance evaluations. Must partner with manager and/or HR to address and deliver formal corrective action.
- Document associate performance concerns immediately, thoroughly, and accurately. Escalating concerns to leadership in a timely manner. Must partner with manager and/or HR to address and deliver formal corrective action.
- Accurately maintain and approve associate timecards via payroll system by the deadlines set by payroll.
- Coach associates with manager(s) for established work goals based on various clinical and other key measurements.
- Assist leadership in the ongoing development, organization and coordination of associate orientation and training. Ensure new employees are properly oriented and are aware of the performance expectations of their position.
- Organize and develop associate/provider engagement strategies with the leadership team.
VIRTUAL HEALTH PROCESS-RELATED CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads by example by understanding each virtual health program workflows and processes.
- Serve as the subject matter expert with regards to workflows, enhancements, and to virtual health programs.
- Assist leadership by completing internal quality assurance audits.
- Ensure workflow documents for virtual health programs are up to date and readily available.
- Evaluates opportunities to streamline or create new workflows. Provides ongoing staff education in response to workflow changes.
- Assist leadership with collecting, reviewing, and communicating virtual health program metric/productivity data.
- Construct daily assignments for virtual health teams.
- Analyze staffing levels and schedule associates to maximize efficiency and productivity. Maintain staffing levels based on established company metrics.
- Provide coverage for Virtual Health roles during a staffing crisis.
- Provides organizational support as needed such as, but not limited to, QGenda and office Video Visits.

EDUCATION:
Minimum:
- Associates Degree.
- Complete SEH/SEP ECG class and pass exam yearly minimum score of 85% and 100% on lethal arrhythmias.
Desired: Bachelor’s degree
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: 3+ years of RN clinical experience
Desired: Supervisory experience
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Active, unencumbered multistate (compact) RN nursing license issued by a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state, specifically Kentucky, Indiana or Ohio.
