Regional EHS Manager na Veritiv

Job Purpose:

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

This position pays between $120,000 to $130,000

• Delivers oversight and guidance to the region on all matters related to safety. Requires in-depth knowledge of local safety regulations as they apply to manufacturing and warehouse settings.
• Partners with Regional Business Leaders to identify, prioritize and manage safety risks.
• Utilizes experience and safety technical expertise to assist co-workers at all organizational levels with ad hoc problem-solving and issue resolution
• Open and honest dialogue with co-workers at all organizational levels to encourage a positive safety culture and establish a proactive approach of bring forward issues, concerns and suggestions
• Conducts safely audits and inspections to monitor safety performance and compliance with standards. Prepares and maintains necessary documentation and reports
• Provides and/or coordinates safety training
• Ensures regulatory reports are completed and submitted in an accurate and timely fashion
• Oversees incident investigations and partners with cross-functional team members to manage post-incident process
• Collaborates with functional safety team to develop and continuously improve company safety policies, procedures and training programs
