Clinical Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as contributing members of the healthcare team. Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development. 

  

The Johns Hopkins Hospital on Zayed 12 East, a 32-bed adult inpatient unit boasting 26 acute care neurosurgery and neurology medical/surgical beds and a state-of-the-art 6-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). As a Clin Tech, you are a valued member of our team and will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care to patients undergoing a diverse range of procedures and surgeries including craniotomies, shunts, spinal fusions, aneurysm clippings/coiling’s, and more! Johns Hopkins Department of Neurosciences is at the forefront of groundbreaking treatments and our Clin Techs care for a broad spectrum of patients with neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s, myasthenia gravis, MS, Guillain-Barre syndrome, ALS, seizures, etc.

Education/Experience:  

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma. 

  • One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience.  

Licensure/Certifications: 

  • Nursing Assistant Certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing required. 

  • Current CPR certification 

 

 

Salary Range: Minimum 19.65 per hour - Maximum 30.46 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
