Hammond Lumber Company, voted 2025's Best Places to Work in Maine, is seeking a Full-Time Janitor for our Belgrade, Maine location.
Job Responsibilities
- Duties include but are not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning and sanitizing, dusting office furniture, displays, and all other surfaces.
- Maintains the order and cleanliness of multiple lunchrooms and facilities within the Belgrade Hammond Lumber location
- Maintains all cleaning materials and equipment in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Manages seasonal and as needed cleaning projects.

Requirements
- A clean and valid license is required
- Must have physical stamina and mobility including, but not limited to, the ability to reach, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must be reliable
- Must have the ability plan and organize job priorities daily
- Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and management
