Description

PURPOSE:

In accordance with company policies and procedures, the Janitor ensures a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment that supports the health, productivity, and morale of all employees. This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency by upholding high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across all facility areas, including production floors, offices, and common spaces.

CRITICAL FUNCTIONS:  

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and production areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Maintain and track inventory

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Must be punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks for extended periods
• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred
• Ability to work 4:30 am - 12 pm daily + 5 hours on Saturdays
